Treasurer

TRACY NOGA* (2017)

I grew up in a congregational church and in a Christian home in Connecticut.  I have been attending PSC since I moved to the Boston area in 2001. I am an Associate Professor of Accountancy at Bentley University and currently reside in Somerville. Since becoming a member of PSC in 2003, I have been involved in various small groups and was the chairperson of the Bicentennial Celebration in 2009-2010. I currently serve in a Barnabas group and on the Finance and Administration Committee. I served as Assistant Treasurer for three years before serving as Treasurer last year. I am looking forward to continuing to serve the body of Christ in that role. The Treasurer (one-year term) is the chief financial officer of the church.

Missions Treasurer

BRIAN LACEY* (2017)

I have worshipped at PSC for 28 years, 21 of them with my wife, Joan, whom I met here and for which I am forever grateful to PSC. We have two children, Amanda and Brent, ages 17 and 15. For many years, I was PSC’s Treasurer and a member of the church’s Finance and Administration Committee. As Missions is the heart and soul of our church—constituting its very DNA—I am honored to stand for the post of Missions Treasurer where I trust that I can bring my professional legal fiduciary background to the service of Christ. I taught FOCUS ESL classes here in the early 1990s so it will be wonderful to be part of Missions once again. In addition to supporting Missions, the Treasurer of Missions (one-year term) is the Vice Treasurer of the church and as such serves as the first backup when the Treasurer is absent or incapacitated.

Assistant Treasurer

PHILIP CHEN* (2017)

I was raised in a Christian family, and came to Park Street 21 years ago. I have been richly blessed by Park Street Church. Through PSC, I met my wife on a short-term missions trip to Africa in 2003, and for the last 4 1/2 years we have been raising our family among this wonderful community of believers. I have served on the Facilities and Administration Committee and the Facilities Subcommittee since 2007 and in the nursery since 2011. I am a Principal in an architecture firm in downtown Boston with national and international projects. I believe that we are called to be faithful stewards of all the Lord’s gracious gifts, and I look forward to continuing to serve Him and PSC as Assistant Treasurer. The Assistant Treasurer (one-year term) serves as a second backup to the Treasurer and assists both Treasurers with their responsibilities.

Clerk

ROBERT RAWNSLEY* (2017)

My wife Ellen and I are lifelong residents of the Boston area. I began attending PSC as a college student in 1974 and accepted Christ six months later. Ellen and I have three adult children: David, Kevin and Jonathan. Over the years I have been part of various church activities such as Bible studies, ushering, and outreach events. Formerly a Civil Engineer charged with overseeing the design and construction of various projects, I appreciate the importance of administration and believe the position of Clerk allows me to use what administrative abilities I might have developed over the years to serve the Lord at PSC. I have enjoyed serving as Clerk this past year and would consider it a privilege to continue the duties. The Clerk (one-year term) gives notice of and provides written record of the church’s Annual and special meetings. He/she also processes any membership-related correspondence.

Elder Candidates

LYFORD BEVERAGE (2020)

I was raised in a Christian home in Maine, but by the time I graduated from college, I was not a Christian in any meaningful sense. I came to the Gospel as a skeptic in 1989, and was convicted by its truth. Shortly thereafter, I found Park Street Church and have been blessed by it ever since. I’ve helped in various times and ways with family ministry, done some computer work for it and other ministries, and participated in occasional facilities work.  My primary ministry has been the choir, where I’ve been a member for most of the last 27 years and the Secretary for the last five. I also serve on the Finance & Administration Committee and as chair of the Security Sub-committee. Lori and I have been married 26 years, and have raised four children at PSC—Lyford (23), Elisabeth (22), Samuel (21) and Benjamin (18).

CHARLES PELTZ (2020)

I am committed to Park Street Church and to the Christian life. I do not covet this opportunity, but feel called to serve and will do so with full commitment to Him and to my brothers and sisters at Park Street. My wife Kirstin and I live in Roslindale and have attended PSC for 17 years and have been members 15 years. Our daughter Eleanor was baptized in 2005. I have served the church as a member of the Bicentennial Hymn commissioning project, planning for the concert associated with that anniversary and participated and/or planned numerous musical events at the church.  I have also served on the First Night Committee. I am faculty advisor to the New England Conservatory Christian Fellowship and act as leader of the annual NEC Blood Drive with Dana Farber/ BWH.  As a faculty member at NEC I have served on numerous committees ranging from faculty searches to development.

ALEX PLESS* (2020)

I trusted Christ for my salvation during my senior year in college when a friend shared the Lord with me. I met my wife Barbara at a church in Rockport where we settled and raised our two daughters, one of whom, Debbi, recently joined PSC. Our other daughter is a ministry leader out in Washington State. We still live in Rockport and gladly make the trip in to be a part of what God is doing here. I was born here in Boston and have a heart for the city. The past three years as Elder have been both fruitful and challenging as we see the Lord work in our midst. I also co-lead the After-Service Prayer Team and serve on the F&A and Search Committees. I look forward to seeking with PSC members what the Lord has for us in the decades ahead. Proverbs 3:5-6, 2 Peter 3:18.

MARK SNELL* (2020)

I grew up overseas as a missionary kid and came to know Christ at an early age. I met Stephanie, my wife of 29 years, in college and we have one daughter, Olivia. We moved to Boston in 2004 and joined Park Street Church in the fall.  Park Street and Boston are the first place we’ve lived where we feel like we are home. I am actively involved in PSC behind the scenes in different capacities, mainly filling in the gaps when needed. At Park Street, I’ve previously served as an Elder, a founding member of the Working Together ministry, a participant in the Wings ministry, had many years of various responsibilities for Kidsweek, an Usher when needed to fill in and a Christian Formation co-teacher for the Honeymooners class for several years. My family and I live in East Boston.

Nominating Committee Candidates

JENNIFER COLLIER

I became a Christian in college and have been at Park Street Church for over 25 years. I have been involved in a variety of ministries over the years, from Sunday Night to missions to Christian Formation. I live in Watertown with my husband and our dog and work as an actuary for a consulting firm in Boston. During my time at Park Street, I have been a mid-term missionary and served on leadership teams for Crosswalk, Christian Formation, and the Sunday Night service.

GEOFF RAUX

My family and I live in Boston, and I work as an attorney at the Boston office of an international law firm. My wife and I have been members of Park Street since 2009, and view the Church as our spiritual home. I currently serve as a Communion Coordinator at the 11:00 AM service, a small group leader, and co-captain of Park Street’s softball team. I am committed to contributing to Park Street’s mission and helping it remain a beacon of light in Boston. I would welcome the opportunity to serve on the Nominating Committee—working to ensure that our Church continues to be led by men and women who love Christ and seek His kingdom first.

SARAH ROBINSON

I grew up in a Christian home, currently live in Arlington, and have been a member of PSC for 17 years. Through the years, I have been involved in various ministries, such as Sanctuary Choir, visitation ministry, pastoral care, nursery care, prayer team, and Let it Begin Here events.  Currently, I serve primarily in Family and Women’s Ministries. Teaching Sunday school and coordinating 4th Trimester Ministry allows me to invest in the next generation of our church. I also love being a part of our wonderful community in helping out with all the fun and meaningful activities like Family Camp, Kidsweek, and Women’s event planning. I would be honored to help the church continue to seek leaders that follow God in faith, reach out to the world in compassion, and build up Park Street Church in love.

JANET WOLFE

I have been a Park Street member since 2002 and have known Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior for over 40 years.  I am thankful that God called me to know Him at a young age, and that He has been my steadfast rock through the ups and downs of life. I am deeply thankful to Park Street Church, and to many specific individuals within Park Street, for embracing me and my family over the past 17 years. I care deeply that the good news of the love of Christ is shared with people globally, and am gratified that Park Street Church is committed to that vision.  I sing in the Sanctuary Choir and have also participated in Wings, the Family and Youth Ministries, and the Women’s ministry.
