ABOUT US
Park Street Arts aspires to make Park Street Church a quality center for artistic activities that engage, awaken and challenge the church and society to a higher calling in God. We seek to identify, connect, develop and enrich the church’s talents in music and the arts.
We Endeavor To:
• Inspire, nurture and encourage the congregation to develop their God-given musical
and artistic abilities and to share those gifts as an act of worship.
• Foster and uphold a standard of excellence and a spirit of innovation in Park Street
Church’s music and arts activities.
• Provide networking, organizational support, peer review and showcase opportunities for
Park Street Church artists and musicians.
• Elevate awareness and galvanize enthusiasm in faith-based art in the Greater Boston
community.

If you are a talented or professional musician or artist, aspire to be one or simply would like to develop some knowledge of and appreciation for a particular artistic discipline, we welcome you to join us.
Park Street Arts recognizes both the beauty and purpose of all art forms and encourages artistic expression that is inspiring and uplifting. We embrace all artistic disciplines, including but not limited to the following:

• Writing
We also welcome individuals with interest or experience in audio/video operation, stage management, arts management, arts marketing and publicity, hospitality and general project management.
Park Street Arts is considering various projects and events, including:
A Cultural Series
To feature concerts, exhibitions, performances, lectures, symposiums and more.
Art Excursions
To museums, concerts, productions, galleries and readings.
A Festival for the Arts
To present the diverse talent of Park Street Church and Greater Boston artists.
Specialized Workshops
Designed to introduce newcomers to the arts.
Worship Service Involvement
That blends arts elements innovatively with the church’s morning and evening services.

Creative Writing Group
For writers interested in getting published. Members “workshop” their work bi-weekly on the first and third Sunday of each month. Newcomers are welcome! Contact sdgwriting[at]parkstreet.org to get involved.
Photography Group
Photographers! Join us and bring prints, slides or even laptops with images of your work. Meetings include prayer, sharing of work and special outings. Newcomers are welcome. Contact sdgphotography[at]parkstreet.org to get involved.
