[KINGDOM ROCK] Kidsweek! July 15-19
Get ready for a medieval adventure at KINGDOM ROCK, our 2013 Kidsweek program for children 3-9 years old. A week’s worth of valiant learning, celebrative singing, rapturous eating, and adventurous gaming will delight your son or daughter in our noble quest to Stand Strong for God! Last year we reach maximum attendance at Kidsweek so this year we plan to expand our program to provide smaller groups and more space for all! So come stand upon the Rock at Park Street Church for the best time available all summer long!

A Typical Day at KINGDOM ROCK

Daily Themes
|

• 9:30 AM kick-off each day at King’s Hall Festival, our gathering place in the castle to sing praises to our King. Each morning we will be presented with the day’s theme by our Kingdom Rock Band leaders before we head off into the kingdom!

Monday: God’s Love helps us stay strong
Tuesday: Family and friends help us stand strong
Wednesday: Prayer helps us stand strong
Thursday: Trusting God helps us stand strong
Friday: The Bible helps us stand strong

• Children divided into age-appropriate groups called “Kingdom Crews” to travel through the highlands, low lands of the Kingdom on a quest to tackle each fun challenge the crew confronts!
• Each Kingdom Crew will visit Epic Bible Adventures, The King’s Banquet Room, The Royal Puppet Theatre, Knight’s Tournament of Games, and Cobblers Crafts!
• We’ll end at 12:30 PM each day in the Great Hall (the sanctuary) for a final celebration of singing and a reminder about our daily theme!

Special Outing: Sand Castle Contest at Revere Beach!
On Thursday afternoon pack a lunch, hop on the Blue Line (or drive in your car) and join us on Revere Beach for an afternoon of swimming and play. We will hold a Sand Castle building contest with prizes for everyone who participates.

[BRAVE] Tweens Camp!
Come join us for BRAVE, Tweens Camp 2013 at Park Street Church! Each morning will be filled with noble activities, spot-on talks, engaging music, and growing friendships as we are challenged to Stand Strong for God Together!
We’ll start out the morning at 9:30 am led in singing by the Park Street Kingdom Rock Band! After a brief time of sharing, we’ll head outside for incredibly creative outdoor games. Later in the morning we’ll recline in our inner sanctum for hands-on activities, snacks, and engaging proclamations about the Lord of lords and the King of Kings as we take stand for him!
Some Basic Info
• Ages 10-12
• Starts at 9:30 am
• Each morning starts out with the Kidsweek Kingdom Rock program singing in the King’s Hall Festival with the Kingdom Rock Band!
• Pick-up time varies based on the afternoon activity (detailed schedule to come)!
• Kids pack lunch Tuesday-Thursday!
• Adult supervision provided on all trips!
Tweens Camp Outings
Tuesday: Higgins Armory Museum and Ice Cream!
A fun trip out to Worcester to see one of the largest collections of medieval armory in the nation. We’ll try some on, get into battles, and have an amazing time together finishing off the afternoon with some ice cream! www.higgins.org
Wednesday: Brownstone Adventure Quarry Park!
An afternoon of Cliff Jumping, Rock Climbing, Zip Lines, Waterslide, Rope Swing, Scuba Diving, Inflatable Obstacles and more! www.brownstonepark.com
Thursday: Revere Beach Castle Contest!
Join in with the rest of Kidsweek at Revere Beach for swimming and a Sand Castle Contest!
