ABOUT US
“Jesus went about teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness.” Matt 9:35. Our brothers and sisters in the biomedical research and health care community are following Jesus everyday as they seek to alleviate human suffering in Jesus’ name. In collaboration with CMDA Boston we enable students, clinicians, researchers and educators to serve faithfully in the university, community, and global mission fields. Our common tasks in all of these arenas and initiatives are to:
1. Define ourselves as followers of Jesus
2. To train ourselves to be healers, researchers, and leaders in his name
3. To enable others to do the same (see one, do one, teach one).

Primary Care Symposium: Who will care for the sick?
“I was sick, and you cared for me” Matthew 25:36
Park Street Medical will host an afternoon symposium with CMDA Boston and the Institute of Faith and Medicine for providers and students and others interested in primary care. From the Acts of the apostles to the current day the church has been involved in caring for the sick in Jesus’ name. Two current issues give us the opportunity to provide leadership in the health care community as the church. For updates go to www.CMDABoston.org.
1:00-2:15pm: Who will care for the sick?: A panel discussion on the shortage of primary care physicians in Massachusetts.
2:30-3:45pm Caring for the sick in Jesus’ name: Lessons from Christian Academic Physicians in South Africa.
