Greetings in the Lord! I want to wish you the very best as we enter into the season of Thanksgiving.
I write to ask you to take a few moments to think and pray about your membership at Park Street Church. Our elders desire to be more proactive in their spiritual responsibility to care for each of our members and to address any issues before they become serious problems. Our prayer for the church is that we will increasingly conform to Acts 2:42–47, which describes the devotion, community and mission of the 3,000 believers in the early church. We believe that each member is a necessary part of the body of Christ and uniquely enables Park Street to become the church that God intends us to be.
Accordingly, we are asking that you make an annual reaffirmation of your membership and inform us of any prayer requests, needs, praises or concerns. The brochure that was recently mailed to all members reminds you of our statement of faith and values of membership. The form enclosed with it can be completed online (see above), dropped off at the church, returned by mail, or faxed. We are asking that the form be completed by December 1, 2007.
Our annual meeting will be held on Wednesday, February 13. Please make every effort to attend; we would love to see you there.
