[A WORD FROM GORDON]
Greetings in the Lord! I hope that your new year has gotten off to a good start.
It is time for the annual reaffirmation of membership. Our purpose in doing this is NOT to disinvite anyone from membership! We praise God for each and every one of our members. Our intention is, however, to use this as an important opportunity to build up the body of Christ at Park Street Church by keeping in closer communication with our members. In the past, we have been encouraged by the number of people who sent prayer requests, as well as comments of appreciation and suggestions for improvement. We invite you again to share with us any prayer requests or concerns that you may have. As we lift them up to God, the ministers and elders will keep your requests in confidence, and we will also prayerfully consider your feedback.
You may wish to review our statement of faith and values of membership included in the recent mailing. The included form also solicits some administrative information. The form can be completed online (see the link above), dropped off at the church, returned by ordinary mail, or faxed. Please submit the form by January 31, 2012.
Your ministerial contact is listed in your letter. We hope that you will feel free to communicate with any Minister or Elder.
Our annual meeting will be held on Wednesday, February 29, 2012. Please make every effort to attend; we would love to see you there.
