Perspectives on the World Christian Movement
It is our privilege to host this course from January to May 2008. The course teaches God's perspectives on the world through the Bible, history and current events. Classes are taught by missions speakers from around the country, including Don Richardson (author of Peace Child), Ralph Winters (from the U.S. Center for World Missions), Todd Johnson (from the Christy Wilson Center for World Missions), Yvonne Honeycutt (from Way Makers), Norm & Jacque Friberg (our own missionaries!) and many, many more. serving & missions
Park Street Church has been about serving and missions since its inception, nearly 200 years ago, in 1809. One of the first churches to send out missionaries from America, Park Street continues that comittment to the Great Commission today. Our urban service and medical ministries partner with and provide services to those close to home. The Women's Benevolent Society was instrumental in the founding of the church and the establishment of its missions ministry, and is a vital ministry of support today.
