Instructions for leaders:
Besides encouraging your group to go, there are a number of key things which you as small group leaders/liaisons can do in preparation for the retreat.
1. After deciding to attend the retreat, collect your group’s registration forms and money and register at one of the following times:
Tuesday: January 22 & 29; February 5 &12 (6:45-7:15pm)
Wednesday: January 23; February 13 (6:45-7:15pm)
Sunday: January 27 (after 11am, 4pm & 6pm services)
(Remember that registrations after February 1st are $5 more!)
2. Attend the leader preparation meeting on February 17th, 3-4pm in the 6th floor conference room. This will be a time to go over the track, share details and expectations of the weekend with you, and answer any other questions you have.
3. Decide upon a study to do together over the weekend. Since we have decided to do one track directly related to the theme this year--this decision is probably an easy one. But if you decide to do one of the previous year's tracks, you'll have plenty to consider. (See below.) Here is a Leader's Guide to this year's study track.
4. Make travel plans to the conference center. It may be fun to travel as a group and share dinner or snack together on the way. A good place to stop on the way would be right after getting off of 95-North on US-4/RT-16 before the Spaulding Turnpike (around the Pease Int’l airport area). After that, it’s pretty much McDonalds, unless you know somewhere in particular.

Download Group Study Tracks
This year we decided to provide one study for use during the retreat. This study focuses on Jesus through the lens of Hebrews 12:1-3 and the Gospels and will be related to each of the large group talks. You can download the retreat study track here: Jesus_Author & Perfecter
And for help in preparing for the retreat, here is a Leader's Guide for this year's study track.
If you decide that you would like to study something else during the retreat, feel free to bring along your own Bible study OR feel free to use one of these study tracks from previous years:
Ruth Study, Paul Study, Mary Magdalene Study, David & Nathan Study, Divine Friendship Study
