Middle East | Ministry to Refugees with Special Needs | March 8-16

For the second year, Park Street Church will send a team of medical professionals to serve the needs of refugee and local children with special needs. Childhood allied health and education specialists are needed to join a team of clinicians. Their goal will be to provide consultation, training and support to a local agency working with refugee children with disabilities. CLOSED TO NEW APPLICANTS.

Central Asia | Prayer Team | March 8-18

The Central Asia Prayer Team will support the long-term work of Park Street missionaries in Central Asia. They will walk and pray through various parts of the city, such as bazaars, mosques, neighborhoods and universities, with a heart to see this city penetrated with the Gospel. CLOSED TO NEW APPLICANTS.

Central Asia | Student & ESL Ministry | June 22-July 1

For this STM project, Park Street will collaborate with a local student ministry to conduct a summer camp for university students. The goal is to carry out a week-long summer project called Horizons, which would offer ESL classes and short seminars for non-Christians and seekers. Our desire is to use this opportunity to give witness for Christ. APPLICATION DEADLINE MARCH 1, 2019.

Central Asia | Youth & Family Team | July 22 – August 5

The Central Asia Youth and Family Team will support the ongoing work of Park Street missionaries working with Family Life ministry. The team will conduct an English camp for local children, as well as serving at a local orphanage through teaching English and sports activities. They will also have the opportunity to serve the community through a practical work project. APPLICATION DEADLINE MARCH 1, 2019.

Lewiston, ME | Refugee Ministry | July 28 - August 2

For the fifth summer in a row, Park Street will be heading up to Lewiston, Maine to work in a community with representatives from 52 different nations, the majority of which are refugees from the war-torn country of Somali. Our team will be joining the ministry of the Root Cellar to reach out to this community in practical ways. Team members will help conduct an afternoon vacation Bible school-type program, a soccer program, tutor English, offer training in technical skills, prepare and serve meals and help with various service projects. APPLICATION DEADLINE MARCH 1, 2019.

Revere Beach, MA | Evangelism Ministry | August 5-10

Park Street Church will join with other area churches this summer for the annual “Reach the Beach” outdoor evangelism campaign.   Team members use various methods to engage those they meet in spiritual conversations. In this diverse neighborhood, representatives from many nationalities visit the literature table to receive Bibles and Jesus Film DVDs in their own language. Live music, activities for kids, face painting, drama, and a prayer table, are all activities that draw people into fruitful interactions, as they enjoy a day at the beach.  APPLICATION DEADLINE MARCH 1, 2019.

South Africa | Prison Ministry | August 5-20 (Tentative Dates)

Park Street will be joining Hope Prison Ministry for a two-week summer project in the prisons of South Africa. The team will work alongside missionaries, Andrew and Anne May and will assist the Hope Prison Ministry staff in running a Restorative Justice course, which is a discipleship journey with a goal of seeing this generation of prisoners transformed. The team will aid local staff, as they lead this program to help break the cycle of crime and incarceration. APPLICATION DEADLINE MARCH 1, 2019.

Middle East | Medical & ESL Ministry | Fall 2019

Park Street Church has long had a presence in the Middle East and is seeking again this summer to support the work of our long-term workers there. The Middle East team needs people to serve in two areas: training medical professionals and teaching English to the medical staff. Medical professionals will work at a mission hospital to share their medical knowledge and expertise with local doctors and family medicine residents. Team members will also offer English language lessons to healthcare workers in the hospital. APPLICATION DEADLINE MAY 1, 2019.
