Special Meeting of the Congregation | Sun, Apr 3, 12:30 pm
The Special Meeting of the Congregation scheduled for TUE, MAR 22 at 7:00 PM has been adjourned until SUN, APR 3 at 12:30 PM following the 11:00 AM service. In order for us to be efficient with registration and begin the special meeting as quickly as possible, we are requesting members to register and pick up their ballots, as much as possible, prior to the 11:00 AM service.
Registration tables will be set up as follows:
Ockenga Lobby | 9:30 AM–11:00 AM
Information Desk in the Welcome Center | 10:30 AM–11:00 AM
Second Floor Outside Sanctuary | 10:30 AM–11:00 AM
Front Left of Sanctuary | 10:30 AM–11:00 AM
The meeting was adjourned because it lacked the necessary quorum to continue with its business. Active members are encouraged to attend the next meeting so as to ensure we have the necessary quorum required to conduct the meeting. The meeting will be a short one, as the only business to attend to is the motion included in the next paragraph. After the meeting, we will move into a time of Q&A regarding a recent Staffing Announcement (see “Staffing Announcement & Sunday Q&A” below).
“The Board of Elders of Park Street Church recommends Nick Dedeke complete the last two years of his term of service as Elder, for which he believed, and the congregation understood, that he was elected to after the announced results of the 2021 Annual Meeting.”
Staffing Announcement and Sunday Q&A | Apr 3, 12:30 pm
For those of you who are unaware, Kimberley Morrison resigned from her role as the Minister of City Engagement at the end of last week. Here is a letter that was sent to the members of the congregation on TUE, MAR 29. There will be a time for Q&A with our Senior Minister Mark Booker and Moderator Jason Abraham immediately following the Special Meeting of the Congregation on SUN, APR 3 at 12:30 PM at Park Street Church
Easter Memorial Flowers
On Easter Sunday, many congregants take the opportunity to donate sanctuary flowers in memory of a loved one who has passed away. If this is something you would like to do, we invite you to click the button below or visit www.parkstreet.org/easterflowers where you will find payment and ordering details. The order deadline is SUN, APR 10.
Holy Week Easter Volunteers Needed
During Holy Week, the nursery is in need of extra volunteers to accommodate the extra services and visitors that we will have. Would you be willing to care for the littlest ones of Park Street during one of our Holy Week or Easter services? If so, please sign up below. If you have any questions, email Stephanie Verrengia.
Clothing Pantry Update
Due to the overwhelming blessing of peoples’ donations, the PSC Clothing Pantry is no longer in need of clothing at this time. We will be sure to keep you informed about future needs. For now we ask that you would not leave donations in the Ockenga Lobby or clothing pantry area. Thank you again for your generous spirit!
