    January 5

    Details

JAN 5, 12:30 PM, Granary Room, Building 3

Immediately after the 11:00 AM service on January 5 there will be an information session for you to learn more about the 2020 Short-Term Missions opportunities, both local and around the world. Come learn about the ten trips being offered this year. Meet team leaders, ask questions, and get ready to apply! Information available at the All-Church Breakfast and Supper on this same day.

Park Street Church is committed to the Great Commission as given in Mattthew 28:18-20, which says:

“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

One of the strategic components of that commitment is our Short-Term Missions Program (STM). The overall goal of our STM Program is to allow our congregation to explore their own calling to mission involvement through short, cross-cultural experiences, which also advance the long-term goals of our full-time missionaries and partners.

Short-term mission trips, whether local or abroad, will give you the opportunity to use your gifts to advance the gospel through evangelism, practical helps or works of mercy.

Check out the Short-Term Missions webpage for more information and to apply.

Divorced? Separated? We can help. Find help. Discover hope. Experience healing. DivorceCare helps you recover from the pain of separation and divorce. DivorceCare is a support group that meets weekly. You’ll find a warm, caring environment and will come to see your group as an oasis in an otherwise difficult season of life. There are three key elements to your experience: video seminar, group discussion and a personal workbook.

Unless you’ve been there it’s hard to understand the hurt that comes from separation and divorce. That’s why many of your friends and family don’t fully understand what you are going through and don’t know how to best help you.

We understand. DivorceCare groups are led by people who have been through divorce and successfully rebuilt their lives. We understand how you feel because we’ve been in the same place. We’ll show you how to deal with the hurt caused by your separation and divorce.

DivorceCare is a network of 13,000+ churches worldwide equipped to offer divorce support groups. The program is non-demonominational and features biblical teaching for recovering from divorce or separation. Learn more about DivorceCare, or join our Meetup group to stay up-to-date on our meeting calendar.
