FOCUS esl classes

The Park Street Church FOCUS ministry offers three sections of English classes: Conversational English, Academic English and TOEFL iBT (internet-based TOEFL). All classes are taught by caring volunteer teachers from the Park Street Church community and held inside the church buildings at One Park Street, just across the street from Park Street subway station. The school year is divided into three terms: Fall, Winter/Spring and Summer. Class sizes are usually small, most having fewer than 10 students. Maximum class size is 15 students. Everyone is welcome.

[CONVERSATIONAL ENGLISH]

The Conversational English classes at FOCUS are useful to anyone seeking to improve their English conversation skills. We provide 8 levels of English—so, at time of registration, you will be placed into a class level according to your current English fluency.

Two options are offered to accommodate a variety of schedules: daytime classes, which meet twice a week and evening classes, which meet once a week. You may register for and attend both day and evening classes, if you prefer. All students must register before participating in class.
