The Power and Wisdom of the Cross
Mark Booker | 1 Corinthians 1:1-25 | The Cross: The Power and Wisdom of God | Paul explains that the way God acts - in the cross and in the proclamation of the cross - subverts the systems of worth, value, honor, and status of the culture. Those who view the cross from the lens of the world perceive it as merely foolishness and weakness. In contrast, those who view the cross through the lens of faith understand it to be the power of God and the wisdom of God. This is something - the only thing - to build our lives on.
