The Proclamation of the Cross
Mark Booker | 1 Corinthians 2:1-5 | The Cross: The Power and Wisdom of God | We close our five-week series on the cross with a return to Paul's preaching which was a subject of debate in Corinth. We contrast the role of a persuader with that of a herald and unpack why this matters to Paul. The sermon considers some implications for the ministry of God's people and concludes with a thought on weakness as the means through which God's power is made known.
