Mark Booker | Proverbs 31:10-31 | We end our series on the prologue in Proverbs by examining the poem on the valiant, or excellent, wife at the end of Proverbs. Instead of reading this text primarily as the gold standard for womanhood, this sermon encourages us to see this poem as a call and challenge to all of us - whether male or female, young or old, rich or poor - to be people who fear the Lord and who live wisely. As such, it provides a fitting end to the book of Proverbs and to this series on Proverbs 1-9.
