For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

Who are Park Street Women?

Teenagers, thirty-somethings and octogenarians; suburbanites and city dwellers; students and professors; working outside and inside our homes; single and married; from anywhere in the world. Where can you find us? Participating in a Bible study, teaching a Christian Formation class, starting a book discussion group, sharing the love of Jesus on the Boston Common, attending an event designed especially for women. In other words, you’ll find us wherever you look, advancing God’s kingdom. Why are we here? We’ve found a welcoming church home and we want to share it. What motivates us? The extravagant, exuberant, unearned love of Christ.
Would you like to be a Park Street Woman, too? Our desire is to draw women to dwell in Christ and from that place of security to do the good works prepared for us before time began.

We will be studying the Book of Acts this year. Childcare provided. For more information, please contact [email protected] .

Wednesdays, 10:00–11:30 AM
Terrace Room, Park Street Church

Come meet with women in an inter-generational Bible study “where relationships matter."  Open to women at PSC and area churches meeting each Wednesday through May.

Is God approachable, personal and intimately involved in our daily lives? Or is He far beyond our reach and knowing? In the book of Daniel, we see that He is both. God works in the intimate details of Daniel‘s life, equipping, encouraging, and empowering him to live well under difficult circumstances. But God also works in the grand scheme of history, often mysteriously and beyond our understanding. In both settings, He reassures us that He is in control and is completely worthy of our trust and praise.
This year, we are studying Daniel. Books provided. Tuition is $30 and covers the academic year.  Scholarships available.  Childcare provided for ages 5 and under. For More Info, email [email protected].

Thursdays, 9:45–11:30 AM
Mount Hope Church, Belmont

We are a multi-generational, multi-church Bible Study that welcomes homeschoolers and provides nursery care and a developed children’s program for ages newborn to five. Our mornings consist of coffee and chat as a large group, lectures, music and small group study with prayer, sharing and food.

This year we will be studying Paul’s first letter to the Corinthians, which is a response to at least one letter, now lost, which that newly planted church had sent to him, their founding apostle.  I think we will see that the problems confronting this church – – disunity, sexual immorality, greed, confusion about how a Christian should behave in a culture that has run amok, pride and mistaking wit for wisdom are as evident in the 21st-century as they were in the first.  And some people say the Bible is no longer relevant!  Prepare to be challenged by this intense and thought-provoking letter, but know that there is comfort found here as well. Remember that this is where even many secularists would say the most beautiful description of love is to be found!
Our registration fee is $60 for adults, $60 for the first child, $50 for the second, and if there is a third, he or she goes free. The entire payment does not have to be received on the first day, and, as always, scholarships are available, so do not hesitate to ask if you have need! We do have limited space in the childcare program.
If you have any questions, please feel free to call or email me or either one of our registrars:

Community Tables

Women's Ministry is excited to continue Community Tables in the new year. We have several hostesses who have graciously agreed to lead us. We will meet for a simple meal and discussion January/February through May. Discussion questions will be provided each month to foster community and deepen relationships among women in our church. We're glad you're joining us! Sign up for a community table.

If you are interested in co-hosting, please email Jen Vogelzang.

Walking Together

Walking Together is what our women’s discernment team has given as a name to our emphasis on the “intergenerationality” of our church. We are one of just a few evangelical churches in Boston who regularly find four generations in her pews. This is a truth we would like to live into more deeply in the days and months ahead. For what good is it to have four generations under one roof if we rarely mingle? At these events, we invite you to reach out a hand to someone with greater or fewer wrinkles than your hand has. Who knows, it could be the start of a life-long friendship! Find a list of Walking Together events at the bottom of this page.

4th Trimester Group

The goal of the 4th Trimester Ministry is to care for and celebrate with new moms in our church community after pregnancy or adoption. An experienced mom visits a new mom within the first few months after giving birth with a gift from the church and information on the programs at the church relevant to her. The volunteer mom also provides a sympathetic ear and helps to connect mom and baby to any resources they may need. 4th Trimester ministry is not limited to first time moms, and we are excited to reach out to moms, particularly those who are new to Park Street, of multiple children. 4th Trimester wishes to provide care support for women in who have experienced loss such as miscarriage or stillbirth.
