Draw Near to God

Mark Booker | Leviticus 16:1-22 | God With Us | The Day of Atonement is the center of Leviticus and the center of the Pentateuch. The provision of atonement in Leviticus enables God to dwell with his people, and this day enables the high priest to be in the presence of God, behind the veil in the tabernacle. The greater atonement in Jesus - which is the center of Scripture and of history - rips the veil in the temple and enables us to draw near to God with confidence and full assurance.
