Please note that there will be some changes in the flooring beneath the pews in the center-front of the sanctuary this Sunday. A temporary, low-cost pilot project of replacing the carpet in the pew areas (not the aisles or perimeter) with oak-veneer plywood is underway. This project is intended to see if the wood surface will be of benefit to our congregational singing; an acoustical study done last year demonstrated that replacing carpet with wood would improve the impact of singing and would not impede the intelligibility of speech. This pilot project will be completed by a team of volunteers and with minimal disruption to worship services. • That the Holy Spirit pours out new spiritual gifts upon his people needed for the days ahead.
