Pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints. Pray also for me, that whenever I open my mouth, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel.

During this season of transition, we invite the people of Park Street Church to spend a week focused on prayer beginning October 1, culminating in an All Church Concert of Prayer on Friday, October 6.

Keep an eye on your inbox throughout the week for daily prayer reminders and prompts by the Park Street Church ministerial staff. Not on the eNews list? Sign up here!

    College Class: The Essentials

Chris & Liz Lawson (Terrace Room)

Whether we're new to the Christian faith or we've been walking with God for years, grounding ourselves in the essential elements of our faith is critical to our spiritual growth. Join us in this 10-part series as we take a closer look at the foundational elements and practices of the Christian faith such as the doctrine of the Trintiy, our assurance of salvation, and the role of the Holy Spirit in our lives.

God's People in Exile & Their Return to the Land

Perry & Elaine Phillips (Granary Room)

This class is designed to follow last year’s focus on 1 and 2 Kings—the history of Israel and Judah in the Land. This term we will consider the radical changes God’s people faced in the cosmopolitan culture of Babylon and later Persia. For the minority who did return to Judah, the challenges of being a persecuted minority were equally daunting. In both cases, the lessons for us are powerful.

Mary Harvey, Norm Graf (Common Room)

Genesis narrates incredible stories involving God at work in the lives of his people. Moses’s first book seeks to educate God’s people concerning foundational ideas and beliefs that were vital for God’s people to know and remember. Through these stories, Moses presents profound truths of God’s character, promises, presence, and his covenant with his people that can vitally affect our faith today. Come explore these with us.

Divorced? Separated? We can help. Find help. Discover hope. Experience healing. DivorceCare helps you recover from the pain of separation and divorce. DivorceCare is a support group that meets weekly. You’ll find a warm, caring environment and will come to see your group as an oasis in an otherwise difficult season of life. There are three key elements to your experience: video seminar, group discussion and a personal workbook.

Unless you’ve been there it’s hard to understand the hurt that comes from separation and divorce. That’s why many of your friends and family don’t fully understand what you are going through and don’t know how to best help you.

We understand. DivorceCare groups are led by people who have been through divorce and successfully rebuilt their lives. We understand how you feel because we’ve been in the same place. We’ll show you how to deal with the hurt caused by your separation and divorce.

DivorceCare is a network of 13,000+ churches worldwide equipped to offer divorce support groups. The program is non-demonominational and features biblical teaching for recovering from divorce or separation.
