Internationals  (FOCUS)

Our Ministry to Internationals promotes the diverse and cosmopolitan character of our church in order that we might increasingly become a "house of prayer for all nations."

More than 60 nations are represented in the mutliethnic community of Park Street Church. For nearly half of a century, Park Street Church has been befriending internationals --students, visiting scholars and immigrants alike-- through Christian fellowship (see PSIF below) and in classes for speakers of English as a second language --such as, conversational English, academic English writing, and professional English communications.

We welcome all internationals to experience God's love in the multicultural and intergenerational faith community of Park Street Church, regardless if they are in the US temporarily or are settling permanently in the Boston area. We are in tune with the spiritual needs of internationals and help all to discover personally satisfying ways to bless others through their time, talents and treasures.

Boston has earned the nickname "Athens of America" because it is home to more than 190,000 foreign-born residents and welcomes annually more than 45,000 international students and scholars who pass through the academic or professional programs of 52 institutions of higher learning in the Boston metropolitan area.
