Get a glimpse of God’s heart of concern for the nations through a short-term missions experience.

Short Term Missions 2019

Our short-term missions program is designed to allow our congregants to explore their own calling to missions involvement through short, cross-cultural opportunities, which also advance the long-term goals of our full-time missionaries and partners. Learn more.

A COMMITMENT TO THE GREAT COMMISSION

World evangelism has been the mission of Park Street Church since it was a part of sending out the first American missionaries, who sailed to India in 1812.  In 1819, Park Street commissioned a team of missionaries to plant a church in the Sandwich Islands, today known as the Hawaiian Islands. Over 200 years later, we remain committed to sending missionaries all over the world to plant churches, equip the local church, translate the Bible into heart languages, and to meet physical and emotional needs in under-served areas. We are also deeply committed to engaging our city of Boston with the Gospel of Christ as we all seek to be "salt and light" where we are.

Global Outreach

Park Street Church engages in global outreach through staff, mid-term, and short-term missionaries and global professionals. Our passion is for unreached people groups—those whose Christian witness is less than 2% of its population. Learn More.

One Mile

We believe that God is calling Park Street to a special focus on the people who live in and move through the area within one mile of our steeple. Learn more here about how this vision is developing. Learn more.

Local Outreach

There is a world of need right outside our doorstep and we believe that our church is perfectly situated to make an impact. Through our local outreach we minister to homeless, recently arrived refugees, as well as to internationals students and scholars. Learn more.

Missionary Prayer & Care

Each missionary has a Barnabas Group that provides encouragement and support through frequent communication. You can choose a Barnabas Group based on your interest in a specific area of the world or your connection to a missionary. Learn more.
