Our Care Ministries offer compassionate support for those navigating life’s challenges—whether emotional, spiritual, or practical. Through pastoral counseling and tangible assistance, we come alongside individuals and families with grace, wisdom, and prayerful presence, embodying Christ’s love in times of need.
Support Groups
GriefShare
GriefShare is a safe and welcoming group where those who have faced the death of a loved one will find understanding, guidance, relief, and support. This 13-week group, while a ministry of Park Street, is open and helpful to both Christians and non-Christians.
Employment Search Support
A group for all active job seekers who would like help in their job search. By appointment. Contact the Job Search ministry team with questions.
4th Trimester
If you’ve just welcomed a new baby—whether it’s your first or your fifth—we’d love to come alongside you in this season of transition. The first few months at home with a little one, sometimes called the “fourth trimester,” can be filled with both joy and challenge. Our 4th Trimester Ministry at Park Street Church is here to support you. During a home visit, we bring a warm meal, a small gift for you and your baby, and a listening ear to encourage and comfort you as you adjust to life with your little one. We also walk with women through times of loss, offering comfort and care in the case of miscarriage or stillbirth. This is a ministry of compassion and presence—you don’t have to walk this season alone.
You Are Not Alone
If you are struggling with fertility challenges, we want you to know you are not alone. We provide support in whatever manner you are most comfortable with. Support groups are offered on an as-needed basis, but primarily we come alongside couples and individuals to shoulder the emotional burden of this difficult season of life. Our hope is that you feel less isolated through the care and encouragement of those who know exactly what you’re going through.
Pastoral Care & Counseling
Without consultation, plans are frustrated, but with many counselors they succeed. Proverbs 15:22
At Park Street Church we believe that ministering to the whole person is vital. Park Street’s pastoral care team provides pastoral counseling, oversees our support groups/workshops and provides supervision for our trained care team volunteers. The pastoral care ministry offers short-term counseling from a Christian worldview to church members and regular attendees. We offer the following types of counseling:
- Individual Counseling
- Premarital Counseling
- Marital Counseling
- Referrals to other Christian counselors
We also work with affiliated ministries.
Visitation
We love Him because He first loved us” 1 John 4:19.
Visitation offers opportunities to use your gifts and talents to serve others as a reflection of serving Christ.
Join those visiting individuals
We engage with individuals at home, in acute care hospital, rehab, nursing facilities and assisted living situations.
Join a worship team
Visitation teams reach out to two rehabilitation facilities providing monthly worship services.

Pregnancy Resources
Boston Center for Pregnancy Choices (BCPC) provides women and men the information needed to make informed decisions about unintended preganancy and/or sexual health and relationships. Email BCPC or contact them via phone: (617) 742-9170.
Alcoholics Anonymous
Alcoholics Anonymous meets weekly on Tuesdays at 5:30 pm, Wednesdays at 6 pm, and Thursdays at 5:30 pm. Newcomers are welcome to attend. Registration is not necessary.
Same Sex Attraction
Alive in Christ is a Christ-centered ministry that helps men and women who struggle with same-sex attraction find freedom. We offer a weekly support group for people 18 and over, and one-on-one mentoring for those under 18. Additionally, a support group for friends and family of those experiencing same-sex attraction meets monthly. Contact Brenna Kate Simonds.
