A Note about Email Security

Many of you recently have forwarded to us concerning phishing emails that look like they are coming from Mark Booker or another Park Street Church minister, but are not. Unfortunately, there is no blocking or restriction we can make regarding emails coming from and going to non-parkstreet addresses.

Please note that any emails from staff will always come from @parkstreet.org email accounts.  Anything else is fraudulent. We will never ask for donations except through our Realm account at www.parkstreet.org/give or /giveonline.

If a communication is coming from any staff person at Park Street, please check the email address it is coming from before responding to make sure it is not a gmail or other non-parkstreet address.

Thank you to those of you who notified us! We appreciate your collaboration in helping keep the congregation safe from scammers.

Request for clothing donations

H.O.M.E ministry (Homeless outreach ministry and engagement) would like to request donations of clothing to be distributed to our neighbors in need. Specifically, we are seeking winter clothing (sizes M, L, and larger), such as sweaters, jackets, and boots. At this time, we are  not interested in small sizes of men’s or women’s clothing. If you wish to donate, please mark them for “H.O.M.E.” and leave them at the front desk of the church during opening hours until the 5th of February. On Thursdays, between 6 and 7:30 pm, or Saturdays, between noon and 2 pm, volunteers will be available to directly collect the clothing for the rest of the season.

Thank you for caring for our neighbors in need!

Community

Lenten Discipleship Institute 2021

Promises, Promises, Promises

Love and Life as a New Covenant Community

Throughout the season of Lent we invite all Park Street congregants to join a Lenten Discipleship Institute (LDI) small group as we consider together the promises extended to us by Jesus Christ. In the upper room discourse in John 13–17 as the Last Supper unfolds, Jesus established a new covenant people whose primary command is to love. Such love leads to flourishing life in the midst of a challenging world. Jesus extends to us amazing blessings and extraordinary promises as we live our our lives faithfully in response to the new covenant he has established with us. We will explore how such a life is lived out in the midst of a 2021 world.

LDI 2021 will run from February 21–March 28 meeting every Sunday. Registration and more details to come soon!

Significant time will be given to discussion and application as well as prayer. Each Faith & Practice Class will meet for a unique number of gatherings based on content and direction.
