How does theology inform our faithful engagement of politics? With increasing politicization and social divisions, Christians find themselves in need of understanding the role of theology and the church in expressing a faithful political presence. This seminar series aims to highlight key features of a Christian theology that informs Christian faithfulness in a time of political upheaval. This series does not endorse any candidates or political parties, but aims to help Christians think theologically. Guest speakers include Vincent Bacote (Wheaton), James Hunter (University of Virginia), and Amy Black (Wheaton). PSC congregants are invited to attend a Town Hall meeting with leaders from the church. This meeting will provide an opportunity for members of the congregation to share ideas, thoughts, questions, concerns, and feedback with our Senior Minister, Mark Booker, our Moderator, Jason Abraham, and other members of the church leadership. It will also provide some time for our leaders to share updates.

The Town Hall will begin at 7:00 PM at Park Street Church and will be capped at a total attendance of 40 people in order to make more dialogue possible. Please choose to attend only one of the events to make room for others. Registration via Realm is required. Please RSVP below.

Join us for meals and an exploration of the community life, theological convictions, and unique priorities of Park Street Church. This class is open to those interested in becoming members and those who are still just exploring the church: participating does not mean you have to become a member. Each afternoon will begin with a meal, and childcare will be available.

Hear stories from this summer’s short-term mission teams. After a brief hiatus due to the pandemic, more than 60 people from our congregation have served locally and globally through short-term missions this year (and another 9 are preparing for a trip in November). Our “Reach the Beach;” Lewiston, ME; and Tajikistan teams are eager to share their experiences with you. Questions? Email [email protected].

FOURTH SUNDAYS | 10:00–11:00 AM | Home Clothing Pantry in Fellowship Hall

Have clothing to spare? Home is accepting adult clothing of all sizes from 10:00 to 11:00 AM on fourth Sundays this fall (SEP 25, OCT 23, NOV 27). Bring your donations to the Home Clothing Pantry (located by elevators in Fellowship Hall) during that time, or contact [email protected] to schedule a custom drop-off appointment. Family Ministry serves the children of our congregation from ages 0-12th grade. We have several opportunities for the congregants of our church to volunteer and help raise up these children. All volunteers will be trained and have a background check conducted. The opportunities below involve serving at least once a month. To volunteer, please email Stephanie.

Nursery Ministry: We need regular volunteers who work with children ages 0-3 during one of our three services.

Children’s Ministry: We need regular volunteers to help in children’s church during our 8:30 am and 11:00 am services.

Enable Boston Ministry: We serve families that have members with disabilities. We are in need of individuals who are willing to serve one–on–one with one of these family members.

Youth Ministry: We need regular volunteers to work with our teens on Friday evenings, and on Sunday mornings between services.
