Julian L | Acts 17:5-10 | The Word in the Synagogue: Scrutiny and Belief | Luke's description of the Word of God proclaimed in a Jewish synagogue in Greece illustrates how the gospel is both received and rejected by Jews. Whatever our context for mission today, we may face acceptance or hostility. We need to dialog with our neighbors and colleagues and declare the Word in ways that address their real questions. We also need to have a deeper desire and delight in the Lord himself to undergird our mission otherwise some other influence will corrupt our mission.
