All Praise to Thee
Words: F. Bland Tucker (1895-1984)
Music: C. V. Stanford (1852-1924)
Park Street Chamber Choir

All praise to thee, for thou. O King divine,
didst yield the glory that of right was thine,
that in our troubled hearts thy grace might shine:
Alleluia!

Let this mind be in us which was in thee,
who wast a servant that we might be free,
humbling thyself to death on Calvary:
Alleluia!

Let every tongue confess with one accord
in heaven and earth that Jesus Christ is Lord;
and God eternal be by all adored:
Alleluia! Amen!

* HYMN No. 347 The Church’s One Foundation

* INVOCATION, CONFESSION, & LORD’S PRAYER
Our Father who art in heaven; Hallowed be Thy name.
Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our coming day’s bread;
And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors;
And lead us not into trial, but deliver us from the Evil One.
For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

How Lovely Is Your Dwelling Place
Words: Psalm 84
Music: Jane Marshall (1924–2019)

How lovely is your dwelling place, O LORD of hosts!
My soul longs, indeed faints for the courts of the LORD;
My heart and my flesh sing for joy to the living God.

E’en the sparrow finds a home, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, at your altars, O LORD of hosts, my King and my God.

Happy are those who live in your house, ever singing your praise. For a day in your courts is better than a thousand elsewhere. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than live in the tents of wickedness.

For the LORD is a sun and shield; He bestows favor and honor.
No good thing does the Lord withhold from those who walk uprightly.
O LORD of hosts, happy is everyone who trusts in you.
