Dear PSC Community,

We’re rejoicing because, after 15 months of waiting, Kimberley Morrison received her visa on Monday! Kimberley has been serving faithfully from a distance (in Canada), but now she’ll get to step fully into her role as our Minister of City Engagement. We give thanks and praise to God for this answered prayer and we look forward to welcoming Kimberley and her husband, Bill, to Boston soon!

Our Faith and Practice classes begin this Sunday (and all next week) on a variety of interesting topics. I want to highlight the class that will be taught by Pat and Tammy McLeod on Ambiguous Loss on Tuesday nights. Covid-19 has thrust all of us into ambiguous loss–having and not having people and circumstances the way we once had them. Pat and Tammy invite you to come and learn why this has been called the most stressful type of loss and how you can grow your resilience in it. If you’re feeling particularly challenged or anxious in this season (I know that’s all of us to some degree!), this would be a great group to join.

Finally, I still intend to send video updates periodically but not every week, at least for now. The eNews remains our primary means of mid-week communication, and I encourage you to read it each week. It contains everything you need to know to stay informed on our life and ministry together.

May the grace of our Lord Jesus be with you all this week.

In Christ,
Mark
